Are you interested in becoming a library volunteer? 

Volunteers are integral to the library!  They are not intended to replace paid staff, but are recruited to assist with special projects and programming. The library staff will always strive to ensure a meaningful and engaging experience for each volunteer. 

How to volunteer:

Potential volunteers will complete a volunteer application and must visit with the Library Director or Library Assistant prior to beginning services.  Hours of volunteer service are based on the library’s need for the type of assistance the volunteer is able to provide. The library will accept court-ordered volunteers only with nonviolent, non-theft related offenses.  The library cannot commit to providing a certain number of hours by a certain deadline. Meeting deadlines and reporting requirements to third parties is the responsibility of the volunteer, not the library staff.  Acceptance of an application is at the director’s discretion.
